Unlisted Extension not signed

Hello,

We uploaded an unlisted extension that we want to host on our servers and still getting messages its not trusted. The status says fully reviewed. Was the automatic signing implemented for unlisted apps?

Here is a link to the extension.

Thanks

I just verified the signature is correct. Please double check, on another computer as well.

Thanks. I tried to install the extension on 2 machines. Each time I copy it from my local pc into Firefox it says Caution this website want to install an unverified add on in Firefox. Proceed at your own risk.

If I put it on amazon s3, or my website it flat out blocks it.

Same (or similar) issue here: submitted an unlisted extension, got through validation and downloaded the “signed” xpi from AMO.

Yet installing this on FF v42 and v44 warns me about installing an unverified addon, and then shows “[Extension-name could not be verified for use in Firefox. Proceed with caution.“ warning on about:addons page. Version 44 just uninstalls the extension on restart.

Which extension are you referring to? A URL or add-on ID would help us look into it.

Hey Jorgev,

Here is a link. Was in the original post.

We have it hosted directly on our server now. When we install it, it gives the message above about it not being verified.

When we try to host it on amazon cloudfront, it just blocks it entirely.

I tried this on Nightly (45) and Beta (43), and they both appear to install version 0.95.88b without any warnings. If you can reproduce this problem consistently, please file a bug report here with all the details.

This is my first time here, Not sure how to submit a question yet, haven’t found a link or button. I have Webroot security, and it has added a filtering extension which has been labeled “could not be verified for use with firefox, proceed with caution.” Of course I want my security system to function properly, and I trust it. How do I get it through whatever it needs to be approved? I do not want this automatically disabled when I update in the future.

Thanks Jorgev.

This is Firefox version 42 on a mac.
