Using Internet Archive in Lieu of Insecure Connections too

Many users prefer to use a secure connection when visiting websites, using tools like https everywhere, and this is a good idea. However, sometimes there are issues with the certificate of a website being visited, like an incorrectly set up certificate, or a revoked certificate. If it’s a website a user simply wants to view within the scope that the Wayback Machine (WM) offers, it seems like a good idea to offer users the option to securely connect to a previous version stored on the WM, than make an exception to insecurely connect to said website.
