Vertical bar persists after pressing on CTRL+H

If I press CTRL+H to open history view, then re-press CTRL+H to close it, that vertical bar remains empty and visible and I need to right click on it and select “Hide Sidebar” to close it.

This was not pesent in old versions, how can I revert to the old behavior? I don’t need that useless vertical bar at all!

Have you tried Troubleshoot Mode and a new profile? (Don’t remove the old profile, just use a new profile for temporary testing.)

The problem persists even in troubleshoot mode

Sorry, I have no other ideas.

This forum isn’t very active and postings here often don’t get useful responses.

I suggest trying the more active discussion rooms on the Matrix. https://wiki.mozilla.org/Matrix
