Welcome to 2024 – A New Year of Voice Contributions! 
Happy New Year! As we embark on the journey of 2024, the Common Voice team is thrilled to extend a warm welcome to each and every one of you in our Common Voice community.
We are starting the New Year on a high note 
, Dataset v16.1 has been released. We now have a total of 120 languages, with 6 new languages included in this release, a total of 30328 total recorded hours and 19915 validated hours.
The past year has been a testament to our collective efforts in contributing to open and accessible voice datasets. Everyone’s contributions have played a huge role in the growth of the dataset.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone, we are confident that 2024 holds even greater growth and more possibilities.
