It’s been almost one year since Webthings 1.0 and the project spun off from Mozilla. I have been watching the forum and despite some activity I don’t see any evidence of an eventual upgrade to the current version. This is a real pity as I really admire the work and effort that got this project to it’s current state - but improvements are needed and there is some catchup to do. Otherwise, folks like myself will be looking for other alternatives were support and development are not at a standstill. At a personal level, I would even be ready to contribute in some way - but not having much (any?) experience in Python programming I would not know were to start - maybe just reviewing the documentation (e.g. changing all the “.mozilla-iot” references to “.webthings” could help.
I’m hoping there is something magic going on in stealth mode and one day my gateway will notify me to upgrade …
