AMO and Self-Hosted same versions and conflicts

Hi all,

I have deployed an AMO version and I try to deploy a Self-hosted version too.

Mozilla gives me a warning that this version already exists but also the option to continue.

So if I continue will any conflict will be created between the two versions? How that will affect the end user?

Version numbers should be unique. You shouldn’t be able to have the same version number for an AMO file and a self-hosted file (unless I’m forgetting something we changed there).

This restriction was put in place so it’s easy to identify files by their version number. It shouldn’t have any effect on end user experience.
