Hello everyone, we are proud to announce the opening of our Call for Volunteers for FOSDEM 2023 in Brussels.
As you probably know, FOSDEM is the largest European FOSS event. FOSDEM 2023 will take place on the 4th and 5th of February in Brussels. To learn more, please consult the website.
This year, we will be sponsoring Mozillians volunteers, that will help us with the organization, for travel and accommodations.
Unfortunately, only volunteers traveling from Europe are eligible for sponsorship.
People traveling from outside Europe are welcome to join us, but will not be eligible for one of our sponsorship.
We will have a half-day DevRoom at Fosdem (you can see the call for Talks here) and we expect to have a booth (we are waiting for confirmation). Volunteers will help us with organizations of both.
The selection criteria are based on:
- Level of involvement as a Mozillian
- Experience in staffing a booth or a devroom (however, do not be discouraged if you are a first-timer)
- Cost of travel to Brussels (we will evaluate that depending on where you will be traveling from)
Importantly, Mozillians will need to be in good standing with our Community Participation Guidelines.

The selected volunteers will be announced by the 16th of December.
