Creation, management, and reuse of knowledge datasets generated by online communities

Hi, I apologize this post is in english, please delete or ignore if it is not relevant here!

Do you currently contribute to any online community’s knowledge base, such as Reddit, Wikipedia, Mozilla Common Voice, or Stack Exchange? Or do you use any such online knowledge base as a developer? If so, we would love to hear from you!

We are a team of researchers at the School of Information, UT Austin, researching how communities create, document, and share knowledge online. Your insights and experiences are vital to our research and our efforts to support contributions to open knowledge bases.

Please fill out this survey to schedule an interview/phone call. If you are selected to participate, we will arrange a video call and ask you some questions about your role and experiences being a part of your community. The call should last around 60 minutes. You will receive a $30 Amazon gift card as compensation for your time. Learn more about the study in this Research Information Sheet. Email us at padl@utexas.edu for any questions or queries.

This study has been approved by the International Review Board (IRB) office of UT Austin (#STUDY00007875). View our Research Approval Form.
