Customise your Firefox!

Hello!

Recently, features have been landing in Firefox that will help you to customise it like never before. The new sidebar, vertical tabs, tab groups, new tabs wallpaper as well as add-ons give you lots of options to make Firefox yours.

Some of the staff that have been working on these features are keen to see how you have been using them and what you have done. Bright colours, dark colours, lots of options or very minimalist - what have you made with the new options?

This is example of what I have done:

I have used a very muted theme, not too light, not too dark. I have tab groups for sites I look at often and a project I am working on. I also have a sidebar add-on installed - this one gives me a map, which will come in handy with a trip I am planning.

Now it is your turn…what have you done to make Firefox your own?

  • Please add a screenshot in a reply to this thread, making sure there is no personal or confidential information visible.
  • Only use standard settings and add-ons - no about:config or userChrome.css hacks.
  • Please also confirm if you are happy for the image to be used by staff (for example, in a Firefox blog entry).

I didn’t modify Firefox much, but I love the appearance of my Firefox.
I am an anime enthusiast, so I use an anime girl theme for my Firefox. I also use an addon called nightTab for my new tab.

I also created a few tab groups. I like putting my gaming tutorial in “Minecraft” group.

I use vertical tabs, a lot of pinned tabs (often more than on this screenshot, I customized tab groups title to extend horizontally as I prefer them visually like that and they are easier to click on. I am a classic user, I use the separate search bar a lot as I find it inefficient to mix my searches with my browsing history. I don’t use our home page/new, tab at all, I have my own local html file for the home page.
