It startles me to see future versions I’ve been debugging listed on the stats. Should these really be included? I notice the telemetry has a field to distinguish between signed and unsigned extensions:

  • signedState = 2 (normal)
  • signedState = -1 (when I was using about:debugging)

But in the overall view of things, it’s a minor point.

It’s surprising that debugging versions would show up given that they should be such low counts. Overall, I think more data is generally better, since it could reveal unexpected issues (like lots of people using debugging versions). Filtering it out could hide such issues and wouldn’t provide much benefit, IMO.
