Deprecation of jQuery 2.x

Hi,

yesterday, I received an email about the jQuery 2.x deprecation. I only have one add-on listed “OctoLinker” in AMO. This does not contain jQuery 2.x, just jQuery 3.x. Maybe your script wasn’t working properly? Let me know if I can help to clarify things up.

It looks like you do use JQuery 3.x. Maybe the script didn’t work properly because of webpack usage in your source code. I’ll forward this information to the people in charge of this at Mozilla.

I have checked once again and you do use JQuery 3. You can safely disregard the email. Sorry for the inconvenience!
