ability to disable New Mail Alerts for RSS accounts
I have never seen an alert for any of the feeds in my Blogs & News Feeds account.
The Activity Manager did show that the BBC News feed received 28 messages this morning. That is one out of seventeen subscriptions.
this is a new thing. it started in one of the latest thunderbird versions
now it’s gone, thankfully.
tried to monitor release notes for past few thunderbird versions, but none of the fixes were pertaining to this, as far as i can tell
probably some subtle code change or inexplicable interaction of add-ons…
