In Manila (the Philippines), we are having a face-to-face celebration (get-together). We invited past, present and future contributors to be present. There will be fun activities and a look back of Firefox in the last 10 years.
Attendees are asked to bring the oldest Firefox swag they have.
Hey Nuke,
I know that a lot of reps are already organizing events in their local regions, so here is the link of the reps portal with the upcoming events https://reps.mozilla.org/events/#/period/future/search/firefox%2010/
hope this helps
if an event is missing from that list please post it here so the fellow Reps will be able to know
If someone is able to create an infography of Firefox since the first version to the last, recently released, highlighting moments and milestones like the Download Day, logo changes, Australis, Electrolisys, marketshare, etc.
In Venezuela we plan to have small parties around the country, get some cake and invite local mozillians to share their stories, invite new people to join, and also make this an opportunity to trigger interest again in Firefox, either for those that have been a long time Firefox supporter and those that for some reason changed to another browser and use this opportunity to have them test Firefox again.
My idea is to collect some videos from different indian community members having different languages saying that “I love Firefox” into their native language. Then I will make a single video with all of other videos with subtle and share it worldwide from Mozilla India.
Also , we have small get-together with local mozillian in kolkata, india where people can share their experience with others and lots of fun will be there.
In the party there would be talks and different booths so people can get to know each other, and…yes we’re going to shoot some clips, probably like I am a mozillian as well.
