I somehow got stuck on this ugly color on all select menus if I use a dark theme.
This is the light theme. It still has the grey background.

Google Chrome default colors at least have a darker background.
Finally, I managed to get the color to this (which matched Google Chrome) but it’s still different than Firefox standard edition, which is black on white.
