I’ve noticed that the Keeper Password Manager extension on AMO is currently at version 17.5.0 (last updated about 2+ months ago).
However, on all other major browsers (Chrome, Edge, etc.), the current version is 17.7.2. This newer version contains important security and performance updates.
I have already contacted Keeper Security support, and they claimed that the update has been submitted but is pending review/approval by Mozilla.
Could someone from the Add-ons team please check if there is a technical issue or a block preventing the rollout of version 17.7.2 for Firefox?
Hi Paul, this is Christos from the Mozilla Add-ons team. I just checked, and I can confirm that the last version of Keeper Password Manager is not the 17.7.2.
Let me reach out to them to ask if they have any issues updating their add-on to its latest version.
Unfortunately, I still confirm that the last version of Keeper Password Manager is not 17.7.2.
I am sorry, but for privacy reasons, I can’t share more. I will be reaching out to the company again to offer my support if they need it to update the add-on.
Keeper Password Manager came back informing me that they will be updating their version soon. Apologies for any confusion, friends, but we didn’t have anything in our review queue.
Hello there,
just a quick follow-up on this one, because we are experiencing a similar version gap again.
Keeper released the Browser Extension Version 18.0.0 on June 23. While it is already live in other Browsers like Google Chrome, Firefox is still serving the version 17.10.x.
Is it possible to check if the update is currently pending in the review queue and we can look forward to use the newer version?
Thanks!
