With the latest change that landed in BMO, we now support reviewer rotation for new revisions which will be managed directly by BMO. The PhabBugz extension that updates new revisions to set privacy, subscribers, tags, etc. can now assign specific reviewers based on a round robin workflow so that they are evenly distributed across a team. If you have a reviewer group in Phabricator that is automatically set from a Herald rule when a new revision is created, then this is something you might want to adopt. For more information about what this all means please refer to the technical outline:
Tracking Bug:
Bug 1960085 - META: BMO Phabricator Review Rotation Tracking Bug
If you do want to switch over, then please go to bug 1979418 and add your reviewer group and Herald rule to the comments and an admin will set it up for you. Questions can also be asked in #bmo on Slack.
The following changes have been pushed to bugzilla.mozilla.org:
- Bug 1977358 - New bug template does not display on initial page load unless selecting a component even when one is selected
- Bug 1960099 - When a revision has enters the needs-review state with a reviewer group assigned, query Phab for list of group users and update the reviewer
