I’m looking for 1-3 volunteers to help me operate our Community ServiceDesk.
I don’t have the time to process every request fully, and I think it’d be much nicer if I distribute the workload across 2 or 3 other mozillians.
Currently, we manage requests for hardware (laptops etc), but I’m looking to take on some amount of other request types
Here’s an outline of what you’d be doing
- Respond to requests within reasonable time frames
- Liase with corporate servicedesk to find suitable hardware
- Approve/Decline requests
- Request screening from employee sponsors
- Ask our employee team members to raise service requests to arrange shipment
- Track changes to hardware
