GitHub - uBlockOrigin/uBlock-issues: This is the community-maintained issue tracker for uBlock Origin · GitHub states “Thunderbird: Download the most recent Block0_[version].thunderbird.xpi file from the uBO Releases page, then drag-n-drop it into Thunderbird’s Add-ons Manager pane (Thunderbird 91+ required).” Maybe it works?
Unfortunately, uBlock Origin for Thunderbird is no longer maintained, so the old add-on isn’t a good option for current Thunderbird versions. For blocking unwanted content in newsletters, it may be better to use Thunderbird’s built-in remote-content/privacy settings and adjust your mail/newsletter preferences where possible.
If the main issue is tracking pixels rather than ads, Thunderbird’s remote-content blocking can also help prevent external images from loading automatically.
