I have no understanding of what is going on?

My add-on was yet again rejected… This time with the following message:

"Our review found that your content does not adhere to the following Mozilla policies:

- Development, specifically Unsupported build tools or environments: Build tools or environments that are no longer supported by their maintainers are not accepted.

wasm-pack, rust"

Both wasm-pack and rust are actively maintained. The build was done on windows 11, and those tools are actively maintained for windows… So why would the tools or environments be considered no longer supported? What in the heck is going on.

Are they trying to say we always have to use the latest versions of everything? If so that’s pretty restrictive, especially when it takes you guys over a month to review, but I will fix if thats the case. It’s just there is no clarity in this message.

Also I should point out newer versions, doesn’t instantly mean an older version is no longer maintained.

So please can someone clarify?

Hi @Bruce_Bates could you please share with me the ID of your add-on to take a look?

Thank you so much

The add-on is Contractless Wallet, and its add-on ID is wallet@contractless.dev. Let me know if you need a different identifier.

Apologies for the late reply; I have been traveling, and only now have I managed to send a message to the reviewers!
I will report back once I get a response,

thank you

Hi Bruce, the reviewers invite you to communicate with them directly through the review tool.

You can comment and ask follow up questions about their decision or feedback.

In the meantime, they told me the specific versions of wasm-pack and Rust you’re using are no longer maintained.

Thank you
