When I test my add-on on about:debugging it work very well. But when I want to add it permanently, I have this error message : Installation aborted because the add-on appears to be corrupt
I don’t know why ?
It could be for multiple reasons. The “add-on appears to be corrupt” is a catch all for it having some issues.
How did you try to add it permanently? Did you attempt to install it through addons.mozilla.org/ or via a local file?
And can you double check that your created extension file is indeed the same version as the one you’ve been loading through about:debugging and hasn’t accidentally forgotten to be updated?
