Locked out of developer account (2FA) - need help regaining access to my AMO account

Hello,

I am the developer and owner of the “MasterTube” add-on, and I am locked
out of my developer account. I am posting here because the amo-admins
address replied with an automated message saying it is deprecated and
that this forum is the right place to ask.

ACCOUNT AND ADD-ON

  • Account email: omegado.webmaster at gmail dot com
  • Add-on: MasterTube (listed on addons.mozilla.org, slug “mastertube”)
  • Originally published: 2023, from this same account
  • Sign-in method: Sign in with Google (linked 20 August 2026)

THE PROBLEM
Signing in asks for a TOTP two-step authentication code. I no longer
have the authenticator app that was used to set it up, and I do not have
my backup authentication codes.

What I have already tried:

  • Checked every authenticator app on my phone and my computer.
  • Searched all of my devices for saved backup authentication codes.
  • Used “Trouble entering code?” at sign-in. It leads only to the backup
authentication code screen. No recovery phone option is shown, so no
recovery phone is registered on this account.
  • Emailed the amo-admins address at mozilla dot com and received an
automated reply saying it is deprecated and pointing me to this forum.
The equivalent addresses at mozilla dot org bounced as “address not
    found”.

WHAT I AM ASKING FOR
I want to regain access to this same account so I can keep maintaining
MasterTube for its users. I am not asking to move the add-on anywhere.
I would like to be guided through whatever identity verification is
required to reset or remove the two-step authentication on this account.

HOW I CAN PROVE I AM THE OWNER

  • I have full access to the account email and can reply to any
    verification message sent there.
  • I have access to the mobile phone number associated with that email
account, and can receive an SMS or a call.
  • I control the Google account linked to this Mozilla account through
    Sign in with Google.
  • I hold the complete source code of the add-on and can provide any part
    of it on request.
  • I can confirm version history, submission dates, and internal details
of past releases that only the owner would know, going back to the
    original 2023 publication.
  • I can publish a verification string of your choosing to a domain or
    repository that I control.

If an admin can tell me which of these is useful, or point me to the
right private channel to share verification details, I will follow up
immediately.

Thank you,
Mo. MIKAELI

A small addition to my post above:

@mozchris - apologies for the direct mention. I saw you recently helping
another developer with an AMO account access issue. Could you point me to
the right person or process for my case? It is a different problem from
that thread: my account itself is intact, but I cannot pass the two-step
authentication prompt, and I have no authenticator app and no backup codes.

I am happy to go through any identity verification you need. I can be
reached at the account email itself, which is the strongest proof I can
offer.

Thank you.
