OK Probably, I did something wrong. I created this theme, saved it according to instructions, but it shows up differently than what I saved. First i made a header & footer now only the header shows up - no footer. Additionally, the header had two gradients - one ran from left to right the other ran right to left with the middle pure white. Presently only the one on the right shows up. When I click on edit theme, it shows up like I want. So, what did I do wrong?
It would help if you post a link to the theme. My guess
is you have made the left gradient past the pixel width
of your screen, but no way to know without seeing it.
I agree. The smaller your screen size the less you will see of the 3000 px theme.
I just noticed your reply - for some reason I didn’t get an
email about it.
When I display the “new-brees-theme” I see only the
picture and a gradient black-to-white on the right end.
My screen is 1280 pixels wide, so the left end gradient
cannot be seen. You will have to put it at the point
where to fit whatever screen size you choose, but the
total length must still be 3000. Of course, it will not look
right on any other screen.
The header is displayed from the upper right hand corner;
the footer from the lower right hand corner.
Firefox does not display a footer by default. You can
get one (called the add-ons bar, or status-bar) with
an add-on. I use Classic Theme Restorer but there are
others.
Your’s shows black-to-white from the left, but only
21 pixels high. (Looks like a picture of the stadium.)
There may be a way to make it higher but I don’t know
how.
