I’m thinking about this feature in Thunderbird from long time, but don’t know whether it would be beneficial for wider TB community?
Description
If user uses an alias with their email address (i.e. user+alias@example.com for example user+mozilla@xample.com, user+tb@example.com etc); put all incoming email whose To field contains alias in their in respective folders, that is if To field is user+mozilla@exampl.com or user+tb@example.com put these email in their respective folder mozilla or tb.
Use-case
This feature would be beneficial for users who email to different mailing list and want them to be organized in folders.
