Various other projects i know prefer SEPA because the receiver of the money pays less than with PayPal. Is https://give.thunderbird.net/en-US/ways-to-give/#wire misleading or is it different for companies like MZLA compared to private individuals that get donations?

Hi Shumble, thanks for asking! As MZLA operates from the US, SEPA donations are not held on a European bank account. Instead, they get sent to the US via money transfer, and there are higher fees involved in that. We hope to improve this in the future and make SEPA more viable for the project.
