A few years ago, nytimes.com started intercepting attempts to print a page in firefox and offering its print page, which omitted images. I found out about print-edit and used it to bypass this. Just today it stopped working. I upgraded to the latest firefox (52.1.0 linux) and print-edit (18.2) to no avail. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/12/opinion/the-treasures-of-timbuktu.html , for example. It comes up with the images, but when I choose preview, I get exactly the page I get if I choose firefox’s print preview; the saved pdf has no images.
