Problems with Signing up on Common Voice

We are receiving repeated reports of a confirmation loop when signing up for common voice from the Luganda Common Voice Community in Uganda. It so happens that when a user goes to to signup, the user is asked to enter their email address. Once this is done, and a notification is sent to the user’s email address, the user is still requested to enter the email address after clicking the links provided in the email notification from Mozilla. This is disrupting our community drive for Voice contribution enrollment and therefore a huge blocker. Urgent assistance is needed on this. Thanks

Because of how the sign on works, it is unlikely that this can be fixed quickly. Probably the best thing to do is to either sign people up manually (e.g. using a computer) or just have people contribute anonymously. This is related:
