The instructions here use an example showing a note added for “chrome_android”. Most of the notes I’ve added to Chrome features over the last three years have applied to desktop, android, and webview.
Do I need to add the notes 3 times, or is there a way to cover all of them?
As far as I’m aware, you have to actually add the note three times. However, the compat tables will automatically merge footnotes with the same text, so if every footnote is the same text (“This feature is behind the flag foobar.tech.blink.”), they will all get merged into a single footnote with the same number.
