Right now, for me, the greatest drawback of using Thunderbird is its inability to natively sync/use Google Contacts. I have tried export > import methods, but they seem “lossy" and I seem to lose data. I tried CardBook, but was baffled. Had to return to native TB address books.
In conclusion, we NEED a better way to sync Google Contacts with TB address books.
