Theme Rejected for Header Misalignment Issue

Theme Name: MacOS Mojave Dark Theme

Header Image Details:

  • Type: SVG
  • Dimensions: 3500x200 pixels
  • Size: 370.9 kB

I’ve had my theme rejected for header misalignment issues. I was wondering if I could be given some additional feedback on what could be changed. I’ve provided the image of the current theme below.

What I assume is that the mountain should be moved more to the left and be entirely in the screen, and not have the edges cutting off? Please let me know.

If anyone comes across this post for help, I’ll leave my experience for you to read. This is all personal experience but I hope it helps someone in the future. I’m planning on making a YouTube video about the process and I’ll link it here if I remember to.

  1. Header Image
  • Height Requirement: 200px
  • Width Requirement: Anything really
  • Quality Requirement: I recommend making it into an SVG if possible. Otherwise you do have chances of being rejected for quality issues.
  1. Check Positioning of Header in Theme
  • Go to: Mozilla Theme Creation Wizard
  • Upload your Header Image here
  • Make sure your Header Image is on the RIGHT of red line in the image I’ve attached below
  • By doing the step above you ensure you won’t get the issue I had with Header Alignment Issue
  1. Submit and hope for the best.
