Hi there

I’ve just submitted a new extension and I encounter two issues:

  1. I get the error: This is not a public listing. You are only seeing it because of elevated permissions.
  2. when trying to install (clicking on + Add to Firefox) I get: Installation aborted because the add-on appears to be corrupt.

For 1. Why is my extension not getting listed?

As for 2. if I right-click on the button, save-as and manually add the extension (via about:debugging) it works flawlessly. Why is it failing via direct install?

1: you either submitted it with web-ext or didn’t select listed in the upload flow for the version

2: did you get the email yet that it has been reviewed and approved? Before that the XPI is not signed.

New extensions can take many hours to be reviewed depending on reviewer availability and workload. If you haven’t received notification of approval or there is still a queue position for it on https://addons.mozilla.org/developers/addons then you have to keep waiting.
