Can we/you assign a unique and consistent UUID to our browser extension when it is being published in the store?
Your extension has a consistent extension ID across all installations. To control what it is rather than having one assigned, see:
The local UUID is randomized and should be different for every user. You can see the two on the about:debugging page for each installation.
