This Add-in always worked for me in previous versions of Mozilla Firefox. I now have version 46.0.1 installed and the add-in is disabled and not even available on the list of plugins.
I have gone back to Cisco about this and they have told me that they have received a number of complaints and that there is nothing that they can do until Mozilla enable this plugin.
I prefer Firefox to other browsers but using Cisco WebEx for meetings is critical to my business, so I see no other option but to switch to a less preferred browser.
When will this plugin be verified for use on Mozilla Firefox?
Add-ons need to be submitted to us by the developer (Cisco) in order to be signed and so they continue to work. There’s nothing we can do on our side.
Can you please explain how to remove this addon? It is marked as disable, but doesn’t give an option to remove it.
Add-ons that are installed globally can’t be completely removed. They are disabled, so they don’t do anything other than take screen space in the Add-ons Manager.
If you want it gone entirely, you would need to uninstall the software that included it.
