We are just over two weeks away from the July Common Voice Dataset release! This wouldn’t have been possible without the community.
Dataset Ask Me Anything
On 4th August, we will host an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session about Dataset Release with Jenny, Lead Engineer of Common Voice.
You can ask questions to Jenny via discourse on the dataset, from 3 pm-4 pm UTC. Any questions we are unable to answer live will be followed up with at a later date.
Please spread the word, by sharing the AMA event page on the Community platform.
Voice clip Validation
A gentle reminder, ahead of the Dataset release, we would like to encourage you to focus your energies and communities on validating as much as possible before July 20th. This will allow these hours to be released in the latest version of the dataset.
How can you help?
Encourage fun activities to get people validating for a few minutes every day.
Internally at Mozilla, we are hosting validation parties, to explain and encourage Mozillians to help us validate.
