Which server should I pick to begin?

Hello everyone.
Quick question: I’m about to start my journey in Mozilla Developer Network, in order to write websites and so.
Now, I see there are some referenced server-side technologies, while I’m only aware of PHP.
So, which should I pick?
If possible, I’d like to use Android as my development platform, there are Node.js and PHP servers Apps available, but I also heard of Django and it doesn’t exist in Android.
Note I don’t have a preference, I’d choose whatever technology is simple to use AND described in MozDevNet.
Obviously, as long as it’s well documented (in the MozDevNet documentation)

I don’t plan to use REST APIs (which I neither know what they are) and similar technologies, but I care about AJAX.

But, I’ve been suggested somewhere else I should pick Django or Flask.
