I know that Mozilla has laid off a lot of the devtools and mdn staff. I am interested in spending spare time contributing to the docs. How can I do this?
Hi @Joshua_Blevins, and thank you for getting in touch with us.
I am currently writing a plan for comunity participation, which will expose a lot of tasks that we’d love the community to help with, in light of recent changes.
What technologies do you feel like you have enough knowledge to write documentation about? Do you have any technical writing experience?
All the best.
I currently do not have a lot of experience with technical writing, and would like to gain more experience on the topic. I have some experience writing documentation in my current position and another past position. I currently work with javascript on a daily basis. I also have some knowledge on accessibility and a general understanding of how the DOM and CSSOM work.
Hi @Joshua_Blevins! Sorry for taking so long to reply to this. If you are still interested, I created some new Contribute pages to explain exactly how to help us by fixing bugs and helping beeginners in our forums: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/MDN/Contribute
