it seems like delays of up to 2 weeks are now a possibility for extension update reviews judging from what i read from one of the mods on here. that is definitely not a minor delay. my own extension has been waiting around 11 days for a review.
for extensions that need to be updated very regularly to work with websites that change a lot, the firefox addon system is not really fit for purpose. i guess userscripts are the way to go for that particular use case, or recommending users switch to browsers with faster extension approval times.
