All versions Disabled by Mozilla

Hey Mozilla Team,

Thank you for drawing attention to the prolonged review of our extension. The review was completed, but unfortunately, policy violations were identified, which resulted in the extension becoming completely unavailable to Mozilla Firefox users.

Our project management was shocked by the policy violations that were found in our code. We are grateful to you for identifying them and fully condemn any actions that conceal or exploit violations of the Mozilla Firefox community rules.
At that very moment, all comments were forwarded to the team with a direct task to correct the situation by any means necessary.

All comments were promptly addressed, and a new version, together with the source code, has been submitted.
Our Mozilla Firefox users are currently upset by what happened and are concerned that the new review may take approximately another three months, similar to the previous one.

We respectfully ask the Mozilla Firefox team to help restore the extension for users, considering that the main part of the code was reviewed yesterday, May 29, and the changes made are not extensive.

We sincerely hope this will help restore our participation in the Mozilla Firefox community soon, and we will always remain available if any additional corrections are required.

Sincerely,
The STREAM KEY Team

Hi @Visag and thanks for reaching out.

Could you please share the name or the ID of your add-on so I could take a look?

Thank you

Thanks for your answer.

Sure, my bad. UUID: info@streamkey.ru

Thank you!

Let me begin by saying that your users are safe and can continue using the current version of the add-on they have installed.

However, until your new submission is reviewed and approved, they won’t be able to install it.

Our reviewers have your latest version and will be reviewing it. You should expect an update in your email once they have completed it.

Thanks again for your prompt resolution of the issues that the reviewers identified.

Hey @mozchris ,

I understand that previous versions remain available to users, but unfortunately this does not help resolve the situation.

Because the previous review took three months, the previous version no longer works at all. We were unable to submit the necessary fixes due to the delay in the review process, and during that review the Mozilla team identified violations.

Unfortunately, this has led to a situation where the old version no longer works, the new version did not pass the review, and the review process has now started again from the beginning. Considering the current queue, the review may take another three months, which would ultimately mean that our project is unavailable for Mozilla Firefox users for half a year in total.

Given that the rest of the code was reviewed very recently, is there any possibility for the Mozilla code review team to review only the fixes we made? Or has the review process started entirely from the beginning, making a six-month total delay a realistic possibility?

Thank you.

Thank you for the additional information Visag. If your currently published version is no longer working, it qualifies for an expedited review. I will let the reviewers know, thank you!
