I know this has been talked about in the past before, but not too extensively, we need a budget. We’re totally dependent on charity and goodwill from others, and that’s failed us before.
Why make this thread now? One of our Discourse servers went down, so we tried rebooting it - it never came back, and now when we try to boot, it says the account is suspended. JP said that he thinks that the account might be decommissioned, and “nothing good” will happen with the servers.
I’m probably making this post way earlier than we’re ready to talk about a budget, but it’s still something we should keep in our minds (imo, at least).
