If you’re interested in trying to find the issue why the fix didn’t work for you there’s two things to check:
Could you check in about:config if the
extensions.signer.hotfixed
pref is set for you?
If you open about:preferences#privacy → View Certificates → Authorities → Mozilla Corporation do you see
signingca1.addons.mozilla.org
with SHA-256 Fingerprint=“B0:F7:0C:5C:36:3B:59:9B:B8:40:78:A4:35:F8:7E:F4:B8:FB:30:E5:84:18:2E:11:AD:FC:7B:07:AF:02:AE:82”?
Hi
do not see either one?

Downloaded FF 60.0.4 for Mac update and my “missing” extensions are still not verified.
Cannot download due to connection failure.
The two things you mention in the check are missing on my installation, same as allen6
Hi;
All is now working well:)
thank you

If this is still not working and you have a master password, please check out https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-ons-disabled-or-fail-to-install-firefox#w_master-password
None of my add-ons are working either and I am on 66.0.4. I have the extensions.signer.hotfixed set, but I do not see a mozilla certificate, can I import it? Where do I get it?
You should get it automatically. You can try reset that pref. Further, I assume you checked the support article I linked in my last post?
Problem solved, i shut the pc down a few times then it worked:)
thank you

Yes, I checked the link, I do not have a master password set, I do not let Firefox remember any of my passwords.
You said I should check the cert, I did, and don’t have it, so how do it get it now? If the answer is to wait… that’s not very helpful.
Could you check the browser console (Ctrl+Shift+J) after disabling the extensions.signer.hotfixed
pref and restarting Firefox? There is likely a “failed to add new intermediate certificate” error somewhere.
Thank you. Sadly this is the end of my knowledge, so I’ve filed this bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1549441
Thanks for attempting to help, appreciate it. Have a nice day.
Since you probably aren’t subscribed to the bug, I’ll crosspost this comment:
Hey, I just wanted to update, I backed up those files and then deleted them to see what would happen. And it actually fixed it. Thanks for the help.
