Hosting Request Form

Hi,
The request form for hosting, domains, discourse categories etc is now live in production here.

Please do share this with those who want any of the following:

  • Discourse categories
  • Hosting
  • Domains
  • SSL
  • Google Apps
  • A volunteer sysadmin
  • Any other relevant items

I will continue triaging bugs that this form generates.
For now at least, we should probably just add discourse categories to the Community IT SIG Approval Queue. Once they are approved (usually within a day or two), who should I assign discourse categories to? @yousef ? @tanner ?

CC both of us and @logan, that should be enough, then first one to get to it can assign themselves.

Am I wrong, or the old hosting/domain request form had more fields than this one? Are we changing that?

hehe, no worries.

The new form includes everything I’ve ever provided.

We did ask questions before, but discussion based on the request works better

The form looks really great, simplifying things. Are all the bugs generated fall under “Community IT Requests” component?
