How to stop a new Tab from opening to an empty TAB that says ABOUT:BLANK instead of the page that I searched for? Really annoying having to close that BLANK TAB and search again, and again. How do I make that stop.
I’m not sure exactly what you are talking about. The purpose of “new tab” is to create a new tab. What operation are you actually using to create the new tab?
Have you tried Troubleshoot Mode or a new profile? (Don’t remove the old profile, just use a new profile for temporary testing.)

Not creating new TAB per se…I am searching in the search bar to get results key word(s) and that creates a new ABOUT:BLANK EMPTY TAB. I have to go back each time to Yahoo home and try again and again…eventually the search works.
I happens on both my laptop and desktop mac’s… so it not my computer as I first thought. Started little over a month ago.
