Eine Frechheit von Mozilla einfach das add-on Speeddial zu entfernen und als sicherheitsgefährdent einzustellen. Wo sind meine 230 Favoriten die ich mühsam erstellt habe? Das hat mit Sicherheit nichts zu tun, sonder das ist bevormundung und Gängelung. Bin froh dass ich nicht die Bezahlversion von dem Add On habe sonst würde ich Mozilla verklagen.

Es ist unbegreiflich, dass dieses add-on Speeddial welches angeblich aus Stabilitäts- und Sicherheitsgründen, gesperrt wurde.
Welche Arbeit ich hineingesteckt habe, interessiert denen wahrscheinlich nicht.
Nun, dann wechsle ich eben zum Internetbrowser Easy von Microsoft dort habe ich auch viele Favoriten abgelegt.
Nach 15 Jahren Firefox wechsle ich eben zu Opera - die Herrschaften wollen es wahrscheinlich nicht anders?!?

- The Mozilla Store version conforms to all rules and has been approved by the Mozilla Team editors. There are no violations in it.
- In October, a new version was submitted for review, where the new Search Provide was added for internal search and where we asked permission to enable it (according to Mozilla’s rules).
- This version was rejected by the editor and we sent questions to understand the reason.
- After that, we didn’t receive any replies from the Mozilla team.
It turns out that Mozilla team are making conclusions based on a version that was rejected and that was not available to users.

Das ist eine absolute Unverschämtheit, dieses überaus wichtige Addon ohne Ankündigung zu sperren. Ich arbeite damit auf meiner Arbeit.
Sämtliche Links, die mit meiner Arbeit zu tun haben, sind damit hinfällig (über 200 Stück) und nicht mehr erreichbar. Wäre es angekündigt worden, dann hätte ich die Linsk entsprechend in Favoriten ändern können und ich ein Ersatz Addon suchen können.
Das ist unfassbar DREIST, UNVERSCHÄMT und BEVORMUNDEND. Ich würde gerne noch kraftvollere Ausdrücke verwenden, aber so langsam bin ich die Gängelungen im Firefox Browser leid.
Ich werde wahrscheinlich komplett zu Chrome, Opera oder Edge wechseln. Ich habs so satt, dass ständig irgendwelche Änderungen seitens Firefox gemacht werden, die nicht manipulierbar sind und das Surfen immer schwieriger macht, Seiten gehen nicht mehr aus unerfindlichen Gründen, während sie in Edge oder anderen Browsern weiter funktionieren. Wenn Mozilla das so will, kann es Mozilla gerne so haben. Grüßen werd ich Mozilla hier nicht, eher ein paar böse Worte zum Abschied !
@Mozilla, wenn man Nutzer vergraulen möchte, dann genau so. Sperren, abschalten, bevormunden ohne eine ordentliche Begründung. Ich bin es ebenfalls satt, wieder Zeit zu investieren, damit ich eine Umgehungslösung habe. Diese Zeit investiere ich aber nicht mehr in den Firefox Browser. …schade um den Browser, aber schlechtes Personal ist einfach zu bekommen. Danke!
In 2020, we became aware that the developer of the FVD add-on had begun intercepting search queries that were being sent to a third-party search provider, in clear violation of the Mozilla Add-ons Policies. After a repeated violation we again explicitly told them under which circumstances this type of data collection is not acceptable. At the time, the developer disabled the feature, and we continued to host FVD Speed Dial.
Recently we have become aware that the developer has attempted to re-enable the offending functionality, which remains in violation of AMO policy. In light of these repeated offenses, we have blocked this addon.
While we regret the impact that this has had on some of our users, we believe that our commitments to user safety and the importance of user trust in Firefox and its surrounding ecosystem have obligated us to take this action, and we stand by this decision.
