Thunderbird on Mac (74.0b1) not using Local Contacts

Using 74.0b1 on a Mac, my local address book is not being used. Under Preferences/Composition/Addressing, “Local Address Books” in enabled. System Preferences/Security & Privacy/Privacy/Contacts is enabled for Thunderbird.

This worked in prior versions.

indeed this is broken in beta. Hopefully will be fixed somewhere in the version 75 series.

This bug is worse in Beta 2. No existing addresses are recognized; all must be fully entered.
