Please could the detail page for a specific add-on have a clear indication of which is latest version of TBird supported as often the developer only gives his version numbers which are meaningless to the average punter like myself. I’m stuck trying to make Purge Events Plus work but not at all clear if it works for TBird 68.6.0 (64-bit) on Mac. Have emailed he developer separately.

That means Thunderbird 68.0 and above (the asterisk means ‘any’). That applies to all operating systems.
It might not actually work, but the author thought it would.
Maybe it would be worth to replace - * by and above. So non-tech users would understand it too.
