Dear mozchris,
I’m having the same issue here. I had two private extensions on my account, both got disabled, and my account was banned from AMO without any notice.
IDs are as follows:
Thank you.
Me too! it is a very simple add-on and then I am author banned.
I am affected too but I’m not sure how to provide the information you are asking for because I am blocked from logging into my account and can’t retrieve any information about neither the extension nor the account other than the login info
Same Problem here, account is joerg@duck.franken.de
The Addon-ID is 85583622-5051-49cf-b866-9750f49aa889
The Addon was never intended to be used by anybody but myself and not advertized anywhere…
Is your add-on installed in Firefox (or something) on your system? If so, the ID may be listed in the manifest.json file included in the xpi package in your profile folder.
According to MDN, it doesn’t seem to be required information at this time, but it is present on my system, at least.
Hi Christos, massive thanks for jumping on this.
As requested here’s my add-on IDs:
#2938923
I am not overly familiar with using add-on IDs. Just in case here was the store URL:
The extension ID: element-to-llm@insitu.im
Hi! My add-on ID 2938875 was also banned.
I have the same problem. Private addon, used for good purposes internally in our company for pretty long time without any issues (known issues).

Dear mozchris,
My AMO account and a private add-on were blocked without any prior notice or explanation. The add-on is strictly an internal tool used within our company.
The extension ID is:
Thank you for your time.
Messed up my ID but here is the addon URL Bookmark Beacon is blocked for violating Mozilla policies – Add-ons for Firefox (en-US)
Chimming in with same experience..
Id: {f5e9c0b2-4276-4a7d-a963-4cfe81882afe}
Experiencing the same issue, suddenly as of today my extension was flagged and I can’t log into my account because I get the “You do not have permission to perform this action.” error. I was able to use a different account to try to re-upload the same extension code and found out that the reason my extension was flagged was that the manifest.json now requires a data_collection_permissions section, so I fixed that, but now I need access to my original account to be able to push this as an update to the existing add-on.
Hi Christos,
My add-on ID is/was #2943827
URL was https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/companyflag/
The add-on is open source, with Git repo and zipped source code provided in submissions and/or description (here is the repository as well, in case it helps)
Thanks, and I hope you can figure this out soon ![]()
Same problem My extension (ID: 2936283, version 1.1)
