Hello AMO team,
My extension Header Editor Pro - Free (add-on ID: header-editor-pro@testacode.com) has been blocked and my developer account appears to be banned. I cannot sign in to addons.mozilla .org , and the public block page states the add-on was blocked “because its author has been banned”:
I did not receive any prior notification or warning email about this action, and I am not aware of which specific policy was violated. I would like to understand what happened so I can address it properly.
What the extension does:
A Manifest V3 HTTP header editor for web developers, using the declarativeNetRequest API for header modification. It stores all configuration locally via the storage API, collects no user data, makes no remote network requests, and ships a privacy policy. Source code is public:
What I am asking:
- Could someone point me to the specific policy violation or reviewer decision that led to the block and the account ban?
- What is the correct channel and process to formally appeal this decision?
- Is there an email I should contact directly (amo-admins@mozilla.org, or another address) with my account details?
I want to cooperate and fix whatever the issue is. Any guidance on the next steps would be appreciated.
Thank you,
I tried contacting amo-admins@mozilla. org and amo-editors@mozilla. org directly but both addresses bounced with “Address not found”. Could staff confirm the correct contact channel for this type of case?
