The program iPhoto, now simply Photo, has a context menu in Safari. When the mouse is focused on a photograph on a web page, right clicking results in a context menu item that says “Save to Photo”. Clicking results in a copy of the file being added to my Apple Photo Library. I find this very handy for saving clever (or simply silly) memes, miscellaneous photos and so forth. Many years ago, an add-on existed. It didn’t work, If someone needs a challenge, development of a working and current add-on like this would be much appreciated.
