Can't change theme compatibility in "Manage Status & Versions" section

I just discovered that instead of uploading a new version every time the TB stable build changes, I can set the compatibility of my theme in *Manage Status and Versions" section. However, when I try to do this, the message “Oops! An error occurred” appears.

What am I doing wrong? Is it an AMO bug or this option cannot be used with themes?

Thunderbird add-ons are managed on addons.thunderbird.net, which is separate from addons.mozilla.org. You might want to re-post this on Thunderbird’s add-ons board.
