Firefox mis-displays some elements of its own and some microsoft apps

Hello everybody.

I’m running into an issue which I couldn’t so far find what causes it and I wonder if anyone else have the same problems.

I have FF installed on an Arch linux system using i3-wm and it seems that cannot render some things properly.

For example in both right click menu and bookmarks menus, there is a transparent “Halo” around the menu. You can see it in the bellow image. It is only visible when the site’s background is light (white, gray etc) and not when it is black.

One other problem is that it doesn’t render some microsoft apps (Word, Onenote) properly.

Here is an example of how it translates the newline when I press enter. It renders a whole bunch of space around the word

Can someone guide me on how to investigate these rendering problems? All of them seems like CSS rendering problems.

Any ideas are welcome.
