Italian dictionary doesn't appear in spelling checklist

I installed the Italian dictionary, not the language pack, but it does not work and does not appear in the spelling checklist.
Thunderbird 66.0b3 (64bit)

Try downloading the Italian dictionary?

For TB 66b3, download the webExt version (2018) and install in TB:

The dictionary can be selected from the Spelling drop-down in the Write window and was tested and working.

I had installed directly from the add-ons not from web-ext. Thanks a lot, now it works.
